HELINKS Workshop Grants for United Kingdom and Argentina (English)

In order to be eligible for funding, proposals must meet the following criteria:
1. Participation of one UK institution and one or more higher education institution (HEI) in Argentina.
2. Applicants in Argentina must be individuals based at a not-for-profit HEI, including universities and research centres.
3. The counterpart participating UK institution must be a not-for-profit institution including: universities, research centres and NGOs.
4. Both the Argentine and the UK institution must have the capacity to administer the grant funding.

The British Council Higher Education Links Programme supports
collaborations between higher education institutions (HEIs) in Argentina and counterpart institutions in the UK in order for them to develop joint projects to tackle societal challenges with relevance to Argentina´s social welfare and economic development. The ultimate goal of this programme is to help establish mutually beneficial long-term links and sustained collaboration between UK and Argentine institutions. The grant contributes up to ARS 300,000 towards the development and execution of a series of workshop sessions to be held in Argentina. The outcome of the workshops will be a final project proposal for the sustained continuation of the joint collaboration.

The call is open during the month of junio of the year when the grant starts.

Although the call is closed, the Terms and Conditions are published permanently so those that are interested know them in order to prepare for the next opening.

Between 3 and 5 days.

The grants will take place from agosto to febrero.

The programme supports delivery of a 3-5 day workshop to take place at the site of a participating higher education institution in Argentina.
