Information for Non-European Economic Area Applicants: All successful applicants who require a visa to work in the UK will be eligible to be considered under the Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent) visa route (https://www.gov.uk/tier-1-exceptional-talent).

To enable early career researchers with clear leadership potential to establish a strong, independent research programme. To encourage talented researchers in UK universities to remain in the country and at the same time attract outstanding overseas researchers to the UK. Each Fellowship will last for five years, with up to 12 being offered annually. Applicants will normally have a minimum of two years’ postdoctoral experience.

The call is open during the month of julio of the year when the grant starts.
